Decision Module

The Decision Module (DCS) ensures the execution of the guidelines entered with the guideline editor. It lets the computer perform all the necessary steps.

This DCS communicates with all information systems surrounding the patient, such as the EHR, the general practitioner information system (HIS), the pharmacy system (AIS), the hospital information system (HIS), the anesthesia machine or the patient monitor, but also with the electronic system of the city pharmacy or the regional laboratory (LIS).

The Question Module offers the user the possibility to act on the basis of the most optimal, complete information of the patient. The Question Module guides healthcare professionals through customized questionnaires, fully tailored to the specific needs of, for example, a doctor, pharmacist or laboratory technician. These automated questionnaires offer professionals a proactive tool, so that they can make well-founded decisions based on real-time information.
